About Us

COCOMOS is a tropical coconut chip snack. To accompany the coconut, we use ingredients that reflect the flavors of the Caribbean, like orange and ginger. We then add a little crunch by layering sesame and sunflower seeds. We finish the flavor profile with a bit of tapioca syrup to give it a hint of sweetness and a dash of salt.

That's it! Only 5 ingredients. No additives, no preservatives. COCOMOS crispy coconut bites are low calorie, gluten free, dairy free, vegan and have no trans fat. What more could you ask for in a tasty and healthy snack? Nothing! So go ahead, try some.

About Me

In 2009, I graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City in the Pastry and Baking Arts Program. Following my studies, I worked as an intern at Daniel Boulud’s, DB Bistro Modern in New York City where I learned the fine art of chocolate making and other confections and developed a keen interest in making candy. Soon after this, I launched my first artisanal food product, a nut brittle candy called Brittle Crunch. Although I love Brittle Crunch, my yearning for a healthier snack was becoming stronger and stronger.​

In 2017, after many years of producing and selling Brittle Crunch, I decided to move my business in another direction and created COCOMOS – a healthy coconut snack.


As a reflection of my Jamaican roots, I wanted to use ingredients that represented the wonderful flavors and ingredients that are commonly used in products from my island.

The idyllic countryside of Black River, St. Elizabeth, known as the ‘bread basket of Jamaica,’ was my father’s home as a child. I spent many summers on our family farm in Black River and was influenced by my grandmother, a matriarch who cooked with only the freshest ingredients grown in her backyard, mixed with a huge dose of love. Using the simplest but tastiest ingredients, she taught me that eating healthy didn’t mean having to sacrifice flavor.

This was the foundation for my interest and passion in food and the creation of COCOMOS. I will always continue to explore and create healthy and scrumptious foods and I hope that you will enjoy the fruits of my endeavor. ​
